Went in to buy a new fishing license today and the gal was filling out the form with the usual stuff - height (I told her) weight (I told her) eye color (I told her) and the next one was naturally hair color! She looked at me but didn't ask, then wrote something down. I always put in "Brown!"
I got home and looked at the license and she had written GREY! Oh NOOOOOO!!!!
So I went to a mirror and darned if she wasn't pretty well on the money!
I MUST BE OVER 50!
I guess with my hair color I must have been in denial, you know, de river in Egypt, for the last few years!
Oh well, as they say, better to be over the hill than under it! As long as I can still do a few centuries.............
But still - - grey! Grey! GREY!
