I read somewhere that either some of the carbon bits, or perhaps the composite (plastic) pieces were made in Taiwan, along with Campy's wheelsets. I think almost their entire wheelset line is actually made in Taiwan, (rims, spokes, and hubs), except they are assembled at a factory in Italy. That way they can slap a "Made in Italy" decal on them.
