Moki, hows that frame treating you? I've got a mountain bike with similar geometry and the seat super high up like that, but it handles like a boat so I only ride it in the city when my other bikes are in the shop.
dude, that's not my bike, but I wish it was. It's Joel Metz's (blackbirdsf.org), SF courier, bike geek, and punk brevetteur extrodinaire. Custom Sycip (hnnngh!). Looks like an XC bike, but has (according to his site) 700c wheels, steeper HT and ST angles, and shortish chainstays. Enough unlike a boat to ride 125000 miles in 8 years. Now that's an effin bike.
