Thanks for the recap. I'm going to try to take advantage of everyone's experience here and come up with a simple, one headlight system. I just ordered the Optronics lights, and I'll try to imitate your PVC battery container system. I'm looking at using the 6-cell inline AA battery holders from allelectronics.com, hopefully it'll fit my needs. The xenon rear light I'll look into incorporating at a later date, once I'm happy with the front light setup.
