You are either super lucky, super careful or ride on nothing but clean, well swept roads. I average a flat about once every couple of months and the 100-count box has lasted me and friends about three years. I know of riders in the Southwest, where goathead thorns are common, that get a flat every week. My son bike commutes in Gaineville, FL and gets them about every two weeks.
