Though I technically commuted on Sunday, first ride to work again today in almost 2 weeks. Over the cold, finally - just achey from my weekend ride and charity walk.

Great ride in, felt wonderful - drivechain is a lot smoother and quieter again now that I cleaned and re-lubed it. Initially it didn't make much difference (took it on a 2 mile sprint to 'work in' the lube) - but all nice now. Rear derailleur gear cable might need replacing and I'm going to have to replace my broken bar-end so I can use it to haul on more, but I cleaned up and re-lubed the full bike, which was nice - nice therapy too

Barely any wind across the lake was nice, that changed heading north, but wasn't so bad - felt nice just to ride again.

I've been doing a lot of reading and making more of an effort toward spinning rather than pounding it out (especially as restarting my riding recently I've started getting a bit of knee pain) and a few other things, like not tear-arsing about everywhere and save some sprint energy.
