This may be better off in the Rec & Family forum, but since it's specific to mountain biking, I thought there may be more knowledge here about what I'm looking for.

We're going to take a summer vacation this year, probably in August, and my wife wants to know where I want to go. She likes the beach, but I pretty much think that's about as boring as it gets, so I was hoping to come up with somewhere we've never been. The 6-tear-old has here own bike, but I figured maybe a "trail-a-bike" would be in order for what I have in mind.
