I love Utah but if it's mountains and oceans, great weather and things to do - you can't beat Southern California and especially Orange County. Disneyland in Anahein plus Knott's Berry Farm and Sea World and Legoland in San Diego, the great beaches and then also great mountain biking. Lots of regular family friendly bike trails, the Back Bay in Newport Beach and great mountain trails out of Blackstar, Limestone, Whiting Ranch, Peter's Canyon, Weir Canyon etc to ride. Also local mountains like Big Bear and Wrightwood. Yes mountain biking is better in Utah (and that's usually where i go on vacation), but they don't have oceans and Disneyland!
