Interesting...seeing as how Mac OS is basically a BSD distribution (yes I know that's redundant), it is very handy when you have to work in a Unix environment say for programming... I just don't see the same capability using DOS. Don't get me wrong, I've been a PC person all my life but Macs aren't the "artsy" useless machines that you think of. Just because the majority of Mac users use their macs for simple tasks doesn't mean that it's a simple machine. I use both Mac and PCs equally as I work in an environment where both systems are implemented. And by work, I provide IT support for both systems so I use them day in and day out. When I come home...well working on bikes is a nice break from all that computer stuff.
