I realize the choices you've mentioned are all looking west, but New England might work for you, too. Besides some good trails for all levels of riders, you have beaches (both ocean and lakes), mountains, historical stuff, hiking, quaint towns, antique and outlet shopping, great sea food, festivals etc etc.
