First let me say its been 30+ years since I road a bike and it was just a plain bike,
Ive been looking around for a new bike to help get fit with and I ran across one from a friend I work with, Its a MXR 1200s Tarantula series 7000 Aluminum 21 speed, It also says Shimono on the side of it.
Sold it to me fo $50. Figured I couldnt go to wrong, theres not a scratch on the bike, looks new, he says its about 3 or 4 years old.
The problem is he didnt have a owners manual and im lost on how to shift the gears.
It has the shifter on the handle bars that you twist, has the numbers 1-3 on the left side and 1-7 on the right.
Im kinda thinking use 1 on left and 1-7 on right for 1st 7 gears? and so on, but im not sure.
Id appreciate any info and tips on shifting for just casual riding around town and back roads.
