I'm not usually one to say this, but I suggest you do a search. There are a bunch of threads on this subject, with tons of helpful info. Most of these threads are found in the mechanics forum.

If you decide to paint your frame, my one piece of advice is this...the more time you spend on frame prep, the better the final result. Don't skimp on the prep!
