Some day you will hit 50 and be allowed on the over 50 thread. I'm fifty four. I started riding at the age of 52. Started mountain biking so I could spend more time with my teenage son. All I ever see of him on my rides is his fanny, and not even that for very long. I decided to ride on the road to build up endurance. Must be helping because my MTB ride today wasn't as exhausting as it used to be. I'm indecive, I think. I want to buy a new road bike but I don't know whether to go 'inexpensive', like a LeMond Reno or Pilot 1, or lots more expensive, like a Pilot 2.1, or even more expensive, like a Felt Z 85, or try an on-line bike like a Fezzari Catatonia (heh). Would someone make this decision for me? If it runs over $1000, would you help make up the difference (I have a Paypal account)? I'm sorry to burden you with my problems but everyone on this thread just seems so dog-gone understanding.
