You don't need a fancy fitting machine, unless you're trying to build a new custom frame. If you're trying to get fit on your current bike, the fitter should be able to just watch you ride the bike, then make adjustments to improve your form (remove knee wobbles, smooth out your cadence, better utilize your muscles, etc.).

If you want a fancy fitting, they can hook up a power meter to your bike and go from there.
