I ride the train with my bike at least once or twice a week. My commute is 15 miles each way and sometimes I ride to work in the morning but don't feel like riding home. Other times I get up to late to ride in and take the train to save time, but I take the bike so I can ride home. Sometimes I pick up a frame, wheel, complete bike, get really drunk, get sick, feel like reading my book, see a hot chick standing on the platform, get a flat, forget my lights, and on and on. The option of using public transpo with my bike probably results in me riding more miles, not the other way around.
