My DF stays in my trainer, next to the treadmill and in front of a DVD TV. My wife and I use that setup occasionally to exercise together (with me on the bike). We almost never ride together -- my idle speed is the same as her moderate-effort cycling speed. Otherwise I use the 'bent outside.
However, following recovery from a recent accident where I broke my hip, I may use the DF to start with -- easier to put my feet down than my high-racer. "Right tool for the right job..."
