I can pretty much do anything on a car that doesn't require an engine hoist. I can also do minor body work with very good results. I can install a shingle or rubber roof, flashing, clapboards, miter fancy moulding, build a small building, lay concrete, install a replacement window, install a door, install a custom fence, tile and grout a floor or wall with either ceramic tiles or granite(if I rent a diamond saw), install a hardwood floor. I can do most plumbing work including soldering copper pipe. I have completely remodeled three bathrooms.
I can do minor electrical work. I stay away from voltage that will kill me, but 110V is fine. My father was an architect and taught me a lot. My uncles were in the trades(specialty welder and an electrician.) That is all I can think of for now. I left out the truly easy things like painting and landscaping.
The only things I don't do myself are those that require expensive one time use tools or are projects so big, I don't care to spend my free time doing them. I had my own tool set before I was in kindergarten. I have since graduated to the fine line of Dewault tools.
I am also a research scientist with numerous publications and awards, but I don't think that helps me build a bike frame.
