Brought back a memory.
I didn't need glasses until 35.
But, back in my day in grade school, the school did the vision screening and actually provided glasses based on the results. My best friend was sitting next to me, put his glasses on for the first time, and started sobbing at what the chalk board (remember chalk?) was SUPPOSED to look like. We were 9 years old.
