I run those two exact pedals on my non roadie bike and the difference is subtle. The candy's do lock you in a bit more (you feel a little less float) and pedaling w/o clipping in is a little easier, but umm, barely. I hate to say it, but I'd go with the ones you like the look of more.

The EB's get more attention and I ride in rain/mud etc and never had a problem w/rust.
