I road Platform pedals all winter, and I was never so happy to return to my SPD's and clipless

But thats just me....

I know what the OP is stating, and I do enjoy the freedom as well, I think I may get a cruiser bike just so I can ride with normal shoes and no helmet, screw all this biker stuff
