Yeah I'm looking for a better job myself but that gets a bit difficult since most workplace can legally "discriminate" against deaf citing communication issues (such as not able to use phones). Though I've found out that a post office nearby have hired several deafs and that they are still hiring, so hopefully I'll be able to get that job (especially since it have much much better benefits and pays compared to my part timer at the taco bell).

Years ago I worked at the San Jose sorting facility. There was an entire crew--18 people--on one Letter Sorting Machine (aka LSM) which consisted of deaf people. No more LSMs , but I know there is a TTY line at my current facility, and we have at least one deaf person in my (smallish) facility.
