I'm in the SRAM camp also. Too easy to remove after a good ride and swish vigorously in an empty 32 oz. gatorade bottle with hot water and concentrated degreaser. Get it real clean, dry it, lube it and re-install it...after running a towel soaked in degreaser through the cassette and front rings of course. No use putting a clean chain on a dirty drive train.
