I ended up winning an auction for a Peugeot PE30 in eye-hurting yellow, which arrived yesterday. I only intend to use it for commuting to work, and then later possibly getting back out on the road proper.
What I wanted to do was check if the spec was any good, and the replaceability (is that a word?) of the bits. That, and when it was made etc as I can't seem to find owt on the web anywhere..
It proclaims itself to be:
Columbus tubing frame
ITM Big One stem
ITM Super Racing 330 bars
Shimano RSX STI shifters (the right one doesn't seem to click as well as the left)
Rigida "Ultimate Power" rims
Conti Duraskin +K tyres
Olfmega(?) cranks
And the old pedals off my old peugeot as the bloke wanted extra for his clipless ones.
Anyone know anything about this bike and if it's any good? Seems to be quite light, and goes pretty quick... But as a newbie, I don't really know any more than that (all the info I have is off stickers etc)...
HEYULP!
It does not sound like a model ever sold in America. Which ebay did you get it through? ebay.fr, .fr, .nl?
