Funny, I was just thinking about doing the same here at my facility. I've always wrenched for friends on the side, but my recent pick up of commuting has inspired me to convert as many others as I can. Is there advice you could give after your years of running this at your work? (I've worked on probably close to 500-600 bikes in my lifetime, so I am looking more for specifics about things you wished you would have brought/done differently)
It's pretty easy really. Find out who is in charge and see if you can schedule an afternoon to fix people's bikes. It helps to pick a charity for people who want to make donations. Gather all the free stuff you can find. Make posters announcing your plans.
