I'm rolling on some Maxxis Larsen TT 2.0 70a tubed version tires. They seem to shed mud well and the rolling resistance is minimal. The angled knobbies are the deal. Traction in loose stuff on steep grades is not the best due to the close spacing of the knobbies. I'll take the good mud shedding and the low rolling resistance positives over the not so good in loose stuff on steep grades negative....
I don't know what type of mud your are riding in, but I completely disagree that Larsen TTs shed mud well. In my experiences Larsen TTs could be the WORST possible tire for shedding mud.
