Played Hooky from Work + rode 90 miles in Lake Mead National Park
Today was a great day !!! Gorgeous temps in the high 80's and virtually no wind Imagine that. Me on a ride with no wind. Anyhow my friend Lara took the day off too and we began our trek to Lake Mead Ntl Park. We had planned on a one way ride so we had to strategically leave one truck at the visitors center where our ride would end and drove down to Boulder Beach where our ride would start. Along the route we placed 2 small coolers with water and gatorade. We stopped at mile 50 ( Echo Bay Marina) and had lunch we continued on our ride around the beautiful lake and before it ended we did that glorious climb up to the White domes. Total miles 90. Total time on the bike 6:32 Elevation: 7500 feet.
