My favortie slot car was the Cox Chapparal! Cast magneseum frame, etc. I rewound the motor down to 1.5 volts of resisitance. Added "Tates" rear tires...the kind you soaked in wintergreen oil to make them tacky.

I met Jim Hall in the early 80's, and really had to bite my tounge about that slot car. I'm sure that's the last thing he wanted to talk about!
