odds are you don't even care about the between the buckles issue. it's basicly if you drew a line from the top of the flap to the bottom going through the buckles. it only ever mattered when they hung the buckles on the front of the flap so people wouldn't have their custom work messed up with strap with buckles hanging from it. now they mount the buckles on the underside of the flap hanging down from the bottom, so it doesn't even really matter.

r.e.load does awesome work, i am totally happy with my custom flap and would definitly (and am considering) getting more of their stuff.
