But the human engine is running all the time, even while sleeping. (Let alone all those pesky animals.) Perhaps recreational (i.e., non-commuting) bicycling should be restricted, since an exercising human will produce more CO2 than a resting/idle human. (I am being sarcastic about the cycling ban, in case anyone is not sure.) Don't get me started on human methane production (aka farting)...
