This Motobecane Astra Tour de France followed me home from the thrift store yesterday. I'm guessing it's a '71 -- most of them I've seen are. It's wearing the wheels destined for my Super Sport while I work the kinks out of its stock Rigidas (with big ol' wingnuts). Stunning color; it'll look nice once it's detailed and I freshen up the pinstriping that matches the ivory headstock. I'm thinking a pair of ivory-painted fenders, some upright bars off an old Pug, and I think I've even got a set of white grips somewhere.
