King's failure to produce headset solutions for those frames speaks more of an inability (technical or legal, I don't know) rather than a choice.
I would hardly call integrated headsets cutting edge; Bianchi used them in the 1950's and eventually abandoned the concept.

Chris King has clearly stated why he believes the integrated headset is a bad design and that is why chooses not to make them. For you to say he is incapable of designing one is a pretty big statement; what do you base it on? Clearly he knows how to make a traditional headset, what makes you think he doesn't have the technical know-how to make an integrated headset?
