Recognition could go to the first "team" to cross a continent, the fastest crossing, the longest crossing, the biggest team, first team to cross the equator, etc. I think we would have to agree that it would be OK to be on more than one team, since it is all very informal, you would need to hedge your bets about crossing even the continent.

Getting around the world as a team is indeed the first challenge. But if we can motivate enough of the 10,000 registered forum members a little competition would be a good idea.
