Go for it man, you won't regret it and the basics of fixed skidding seriously takes ten minutes to figure out if you're on dirt or wet pavement (It will take longer to get good though) When you're first starting out you may be surprised once or twice when you try to coast, but riding fixed really isnt rocket science. You will have muchas fun and it's an awesome deal.
