Clearly he knows how to make a traditional headset, what makes you think he doesn't have the technical know-how to make an integrated headset?
Dude, work on the reading comprehension!

I didn't say that integrated headsets are cutting edge, I said that many manufacturers who have names more legendary than King produce cutting-edge frames that utilize integrated headsets... this is a fact. Check out Look, Pinarello, etc...

I also did not say he cannot make an integrated headset. I opined that perhaps he cannot, or perhaps legal issues prevent him from doing so.

Pinarello's new integrated headset with the narrow-to-large bearing diameters is an interesting new design. Chris King wants to be the first and last name in headsets. Why isn't he on the cutting edge with the expanding diameter tech? Why isn't he taking what's wrong with the Cane Creek IS standard and re-designing it?

Stubbornly sticking to standard headsets even if it means another company's headset designs will be on some of the best manufacturer's bleeding-edge frames is stupid. That kind of arrogance can only lead to suddenly finding oneself obsolete...
