Well not new new, new to her. 50cm yakota ladies frame. So it's not some ultralight aluminium track bike or anything but it really surprised me how light the thing is considering it's steel and dirt old. It must weigh around 18lbs, which is a helluva lot lighter than most of today's budget and even moderately priced bikes considering this thing is built up from some pretty cheap (i.e relatively heavy components).
She's relatively short at 5' but the 175mm pedals give her a lot of leverage to drive the 44x16 drive train. She can stop from around 15mph pretty well w/o the brakes on her first shot and the wheel base is so long that there's pretty much no toe overlap.
So if you see a little short girl riding by, say hi. If you see someone else riding it, it's STOLEN!
