I bet "the team" was the last thing on his mind, rather the 100 clauses in his DISCO contract that said they would allowed to skin him alive and own every cent he
ever made from anything if he got caught as a member of DISCO. They are shopping for sponsors after all. His action was one of self preservation, not "taking one for the team" Be prepared to never seen him race again.
