If he knows that he can't do certain things (post certain types of pictures, and write certain commentaries), then I guess the question is why does he do it? I have to presume he enjoys the response (like this thread). Regardless of our own position pro or contra the botto-meister, I think that focussing on the actions of the mods is totally wrong-headed: we should be asking why botto so pertinaciously clings to his miscreancy. This isn't a democracy; it's a forum for discussion. It's a bit like a classroom; and it only makes sense, as in a classroom, that those who have a history of misbehaviour are treated to greater scrutiny. I'm all for having botto back, but I also think if he blows it again, that he should be banished. I think the reason he so obviously breaks the rules is because he likes these little surges of public solidarity on his behalf -- he likes the attention, and this is his surest way to get it.
