I agree 100% with you. Everyone should be on bikes. All kinds of bikes and all kinds of gear. Workboots, jeans and a sweatshirt all the way to racer-boy outfits. And like I said, it's just one reason I wear the kit. But I have noticed - and this is completely anecdotal and only pertains to me - that when I don't wear the kit and ride the road bike, I get harassed. Or to be more specific, I've been harrassed when I've chosen to wear everyday clothes and take the mtb. On my road bike, almost never.
