Thanks guys. Yeah, the speed differential with the TT bike is deep. I'm getting a crappy recovery back there, due to higher speed and less draft. When I pull, he gets a much beter draft plus lower speeds, so a much better recovery.

I haven't suffered like that in a while. It's good to build that character I guess. When I'm doing hill repeats, if I hit 182, I know I'm hitting the wall. I can't believe I held 186 that long -- though I'm sure cardiac drift had something to do with it -- I was just starting to get a little low on water.

Yep. No officials or registration. Some call it a "pirate race" (I usually dress like a pirate -- the hairy legs help). It's a really impressive training race. There was even a documentary made about it for the SXSW Film Festival. Trailer here:
