Ive been hunting far and wide for a Nice mid 80s Touring frame.

Just cant find one I came close last year with a univega but it was way too small, found a older trek 520 in a landfill but it was way too big.

came across a few others but usually too big or too beat up.


If I were not such a nice person I probably could have Bought a beautiful mid 80s centurion that was perfect my size 531 frame/fork . all campy, brakes were Diacompe center pull , relaxed geometry and mucho braze ons , perfectly fitted fenders real pretty .

the owner wanted to buy an aluminum "More modern Bike" I talked him out of it and told him what upgrades he needed and where to get them (stupid me). I saw him again a few months later new wheels, tires, and the new long reach sidepulls from Tecktro that replaced the centerpulls. he said thanks saved him $$ and he liked the bike again.

I should have offered him $100.00 and kept my mouth shut.
