That's cool. I honestly don't know what I would have done in that situation. I once broke a seatpost in Numinbah Valley and my first thought was "WTF is going on here?" and I started looking around immediately. Of course, there was no traffic for me to keep an eye on that morning, but there
was a 30km ride home.
