ok so folks must be tired of the "which wheels" threads, but i cannot make a decision. right now i'm down to 4 options
cheapest- campy khamsins or fulcrum 7s. (200$)
next- mavic cosmos (300$)
top of my budget-handbuilts (centaur/OPs or R1.1s) (@400$)
any of these would be an upgrade from the alex boat anchors i had. i've already dumped tons of weight from this bike with component swaps so weight is not a huge issue.
at this point i'm leaning towards option 1 and going dirt cheap with the khamsin or fulcrums.
i normally have a pretty good idea what i want when it comes to bike stuff, but this is my backup bike and i'm trying not to get swept up in going beyond what i really need, which is such an easy thing to do.
