the KHS is quite track-y, but i'd say the pista is a bit trackier.
the KHS's bottom bracket is a bit lower and depending on your size, it has slightly slacker angles. But it's far from road-like. But the wheelbase is still short, the headtube is still steep and the fork has 28mm rake.
I definetly notice the difference going from my commuter to my cannondale to the KHS. The KHS is more nimble, a bit easier to throw around, but the 28mm fork keeps things stable. BUT, the Cannondale is definetly more comfortable and more stable.
if you're looking for something more road-like then check out an IRO, or the Bianchi Fremont, or a Lemond Fillmore or a Giant Bowery, or the Cannondale Capo or the Raleigh rush hour, or a Redline 925.......
you have many options.
