A man I see on my street had a seat that was like 2 pivoting pads for a couple of years. He has now replaced it with a conventional Selle Italia. I think they are designed by medical experts with no idea of the multiple requirements of a bycicle saddle. It must provide support, shock absorption, control of the bike, without interference with pedalling. The conventional saddle is the only design that can provide all this. There are a colossal variety that conform to this concept but only one may fit your butt.
