My LBS (where I bought it) checked it out. The manager used rim pliers to de-flange it, trued the wheel up, tested the bead and said it would work as-is with a slight "thump" while I roll but doesn't have any recommendations for getting it back into round. It's actually out of round right between two spokes. He can cut me a good deal - some percent over cost - on a brand-new OEM wheel, though. Retail is $75. Worth every penny... cheap-ass wheels! Not that any $500 road wheel would have survived what I did.

I may see if there are any really hardcore old school wheel builders around. My guess is someone at Acme Bicycle Company (a local custom frame builder and bike shop) might know, but they're very, very alt-bike culture and cliquish.
