So I was going to do this bottom bracket swap this weekend, but ran out of time to make it to the shop today.

However, I dumpstered a Peugeot "Urban Express' frame today that has a square taper bottom bracket(though the spindle itself is broken on one side).

I thought, "jackpot" i can swap out these cups if my originals prove problematic, but I'll still have to change a spindle. My question now though, is the frame says made in Japan, so will the threads still be french tapered?
