The "Classic" Fred is a non-stylish rider on a utility bike, who can outride better dressed and equipped competitors.

The "Neo" Fred is a clueless newbie who buys expensive equipment and outfits and doesn't realize his seat is too low or his aerobars are not supposed to be vertical, or that you don't wear bibs when you're very overweight.
