I drove CONSTANTLY back in Montana. I had to, it get's friggin cold for one. There's NO public transportation in the town I lived in, and it's spread out. And chances are, if you went to a buddy's house, he lived 20+ miles away out in the middle of nowhere.
Now I'm in California and really don't understand why people drive. ESPECIALLY in the bay area. BART is so rad. And biking is radder.
Wow, a Bay Area resident not complaining about our excellent public transit? Seriously last time I took the Muni and BART it was on convenient, on time and cheap, can't understand how people hate it so.
