I recently took mine all apart to re-lube as the old (21 years) grease was like tar. It's a 1986 Schwin Sprint. After I got it all back together I noticed that the cassette kind of wobbles when the rear wheel is free-wheeling (after being cranked up to speed). Any ideas why this is happening? Is something bent or did I put something together wrong? I did notice (when it was apart) that the outer edge of the wheel bearing hub on the drive side (under the cassette) was jagged and would give you a Godzilla-like metal splinter if you ran your finger around it. The cone-shaped washer that sits over the caged bearing seemed to sit down into the hub a bit too. Any advice would be helpful (other than "go buy a new bike"). Would love a new tri-bike but can't afford it, the ol' Schwin will have to do for now for training.
