It is better if something like that is used. There is a certain waste otherwise. If it just goes into storage -- or if it is just kept somewhere by a collector who keeps things without using them ('hoarding' may be too strong a word, but something along those lines often goes on....) -- it isn't the same. Bikes should be ridden. Someone would enjoy that bike tremendously, take care of it, and make good use of it.

Why not find someone like that? It shouldn't be too hard.

(Too often it becomes just a matter of dollars or pounds -- why not have the elements of good use and someone's happiness be a part of it too?)
